The Short and Long Tones #2 (Some Pictures I Found On The Ground)

from by Mike Pride

Abandoned composition originally created for Locust Music Project in 2002.
The composition employed my Short & Long Tone composition method.
This piece was exploits the juxtoposition of a real-time field recording accompanied by a live guitar improvisation played to the field recording, overlaid by a through-composed composition (The Short & Long Tones #2) played by clarinet and viola.
The percussion part simultaneously improvises along with the electric guitar & accompanies the written composition.
